Healthier Hot Chocolate – Serves 1

• 1 mug of milk (I use almond milk, but you can use any type of milk)
• 1 tsp maple syrup
• 2 tsp raw cacao powder
• 1 tsp nut butter (I used almond or cashew)
• Sprinkle of ground cinnamon (or use mixed spice or nutmeg, anything you like)

Place all ingredients in to a small saucepan and heat gently. Stir continuously so the nut butter doesn’t stick. Pour in to your cup and enjoy.
