Your entire days sugar intake in one ice lolly and let’s not mention the saturated fats in a Magnum! It’s time to make your own….

I make homemade ice lollies all year round as they make a useful dessert and snack for the children. They are so easy to make. Here’s a few easy recipes to get you started. All you need is a blender, juicer and some lolly moulds.

Chocolate banana – 1 banana, 1 tin of coconut milk, 1 tbsp. raw cacoa powder, water (if needed), a little honey (optional). Blitz in a blender.

Super Cool – 1 cucumber, 1 handful of mint, sparkling water. Juice the cucumber and mint and add to the sparkling water.

Lemonade Lollies – juice of a lemon, 2 tsp xylitol, sparkling water. Mix together.

Orange Surprise – juice 4 oranges & 4 carrots. Add water to dilute.

Berry Surprise – blend a water melon. Add a few blueberries to each lolly mould and then add the water melon juice.

Berry Yoghurt – big handful of berries, apple juice, 4 tbsp. natural yoghurt, 1/2 banana. Water to dilute. blitz together in a blender.

Enjoy!
