Cheesy Sauce (dairy free)

  • 65g cashew nuts (soaked for at least 2 hours in water, then drained)
  • 4 tsp nutritional yeast
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ lemon juiced
  • 120ml water (or to suit the consistency you need – adjust amount as needed)

 

Place all ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth.

You can use this sauce to flavour kale crisps, as a pizza topping, as white sauce for lasagne or pasta sauce.
