Spiced Porridge – Serves 1

• 40g Oats
• 200ml Water/Milk (dairy alternatives work great)
• Maple syrup to serve
• 1 ½ tbsp. ground cinnamon
• ¼ tsp ground coriander
• 1 tsp ground cloves
• ¼ tsp ground allspice
• ¼ tsp ground cardamom
• 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg

In a small screw top container (a jar would be ideal), add all the spices and shake. This makes 4 servings.
In a saucepan add oats and water/milk (as you would normally do to make porridge). Add ¼ of the spices from the jar. Cook until the oats are ready. Serve with a drizzle of maple syrup.
